Mr. James Parms

James O. Parms affectionately known as “K Cool” was born on March 7, 1947 in Marlboro County, South Carolina to the late Ella Louise and Johnny Parms. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at his home.

James O. Parms attended Minturn Elementary School of Dillon County, South Carolina and was avid about going fishing.

He was dedicated to his family, friends and other loved ones and throughly enjoyed spending time with them. “K Cool” loved the Minturn picnic. He did a lot of farm work until his illness. Preceding James in death along with his parents were two sisters: Dorothy A. Parms and Dora Mae Parms; three brothers: Neil C. Parms, James Parms and Johnny Jr. Parms, Lois Green, Nancy Mae Dupree, Florine Graves, Dosha Graves, Angela Blanch Graves, brother: Joe Lewis; the love of his life: Deloris Johnson.
