What a loss for a world that needs more Lorettas! It was my good fortune to work with Loretta for several years at the RCBOE office on Heard Ave. I knew that sweet voice which answered the phones at Glenn Hill HS long before I met the beautiful, always smiling face! She was always kind, always helpful, always calm, always trustworthy - always Loretta. I was blessed by her presence. My prayer is that Dee and all the family will find comfort and peace during this tough time. Julia Impink

In Loving Memory of Mother Written by Deborah Anderson If Roses Grow in Heaven Please pick a bunch for me . Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell Her they’re from me. Tell her that I love and miss her And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek And hold her for awhile. Because remembering her “come” easy as I “will do” it every day. But there is an ache within my heart That will never go away. Love you dearly Dee- The Thomas family ( Tina, Pudding, Kim, Nick, Puncho, Jimmy and the children) would like to extend their sympathy during this.

You will always be my Lil Retta. You were like a big sister to me all my life. We talked about everything, laughed and grew up together. I know you are in a better place now, but it still hurts. Your smile and energy will be missed but you passed it on to everyone you crossed. You are with my Dad again. I love you Aunt Loretta ❤❤❤❤❤ - Boobie

I met Loretta when I went to Glenn Hill High School as an assistant principal. She made my work there so much easier. She had a calming demeanor that could bring down the temperature in heated situations. Having been at the school long before I arrive, I quickly learned that I could depend on her answers to questions that I had about what worked and how. And above all she was trustworthy without question. I saw her several months ago and was heartbroken to learn of her illness. But she was in good sprits and we were able to reminisce briefly of our time working together. My prayers for strength and comfort to her family during this time of loss. Donald Davis
