Obituary For Bettie Allen

Bettie Ruth Pittman Allen, 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Reverend Oliver Washington, officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Thank you to everyone for your love, prayers and hugs. My mom was a tough cookie and she lived a good life. I am so thankful to know that she traded her feeding tube, trach, and pain for a beautiful white robe. I will miss you but, I know you are in a better place, with GOD.

Bettie Ruth,Bettie Ruth back in the day we discussed this day over 35. Years ago well cuz,the things we discussed are wore out and somewhere rusted out. Will not forget the crazy things we use to say,could have a party just the two of us and a bag of chips,etc. The airplane rides age and circumstances separated us. I will still hold on to the memories that I have so Precious and other not so precious.Rest Rest you are at peace now no more pain, or worry, we said we weren't going to be sad because we were goiñg to live life to the fullest as long as we were here.with love and a tear I say a heartfelt farewell,Farewell.
