Obituary For Georgia Lee Hubbard

Mrs. Georgia Lee Hubbard 81 of 1001 Green Meadows Drive, Madison Georgia, transitioned this life peacefully on October 22, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Georgia was born July 7, 1938 to the late Robert Lee and Willie Love Hubbard. In addition to her parents, her son, Larry Lambert and daughter-in-law Bessie Morgan Hubbard preceded her in death. Her siblings, Mary Canteen, Carrie Kay Hubbard, sister-in-law Dorothy J. Hubbert, Teresa Greene, Patrica Hubbard, Willie Hubbard, Caleb Hubbard, step-brother Bennie Paul Moore all have preceded her in death.

Georgia attended Burney Street Elementary School in Madison, Georgia and Dorsey Junior High School in Liberty City, Florida. She accepted Christ early in her life. She has always been a caring person and always willing to help someone. She loved music and loved to dance. Georgia held a variety of jobs during her lifetime, retiring in 2001. She continued working in part-time positions until her health began to fail.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Preston Hubbard, daughter-in-law, Robin Hale; seven grandchildren: Rokeyta Hale Harrison (Greg), Chequillia Hale, Larryren R. Hale, Rodrick Morgan, Avery Borgan, Michelle Walker, and Preston Jamal Hubbard. Eight great-grandchildren: Nakwan Hale, Romeo Hale, Ian Hale, Chance Butler, Chanell Butler, Cylah Harrison, and Ny-Asia D. Hale. Her siblings: Robert Hubbert, Bessie Hunter, Rosa Cotton, Richard Hubbard, Ceasor Hubbard (Veronica), Rosa Marie Banks, Louise Hubbard, step-brother Charlie Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Smyrna Baptist Church, Madison Georgia, Rev. Harlon Heard, Pastor, Rev. Casey Morgan, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
