Obituary For Clinton Dexter Hampton

Mr. Clinton Hampton, 61, died November 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6,2019 at Osborne Baptist Church, Eden, NC. Burial will be held at Eden Garden Cemetery, Eden, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Clinton known to many as "Punkin" was born June 2, 1958 and departed this life on November 1, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC. He was a faithful member of Osborne Baptist Church under Pastor Steve Griffith. After graduating from Morehead High School, Eden, NC he served in the U. S. Army for four years. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny J. Hampton. He is survived by his mother; Rosetta A. Hampton, daughter; Darius S. Hampton of Axton, VA, sons; Jawan Hampton of Lisbon, OH, brother; Jackie L. Hampton (Angela), two nephews; Clint Hampton and Greg Hampton both of Orting, WA, aunt; Rosa Bell Phillips of Danville, VA, 3 grandsons, 2 great nephews of Orting, WA. a host of cousins and friends.
