Louis "Pete" Shepherd 78, of Gilmer, TX died Tuesday February 2, 2016 in Longview, TX. Services will be held Friday February 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gilmer, TX; with Bro. Dwight Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Gilmer, TX. Services are under the direction of J.C. White Funeral & Cremation Services of Mt. Pleasant, TX. Louie was a good man and always had a smile or a grin on his face ..I worked with him at Welsh Power Plant for many years . We shared many funny stories over the years and I missed visiting with him after he left the plant . Louie enjoyed life and his working buddies at the plant . I know he will be missed by his family and I'm sure they have many fond memories of his time here on Earth. Rest in PEACE , my friend ....Stan Wyatt , Daingerfield Texas
