Obituary For Dianne Sears

Mrs. Dianne Sears,59, of Chula, Ga. departed this life on Thursday at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov 13th at St. John Baptist Church in Sunsweet at 11:00 a.m. The Committal service will follow in the church cemetery, and the repast will conclude at the St. John Social Hall. On November 7, 2019 God called home his faithful and humble servant, Mrs. Dianne Sears. Mrs. Sears was born on April 23, 1960. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church in Sunsweet, Georgia. She was an active member who served on the Pastor’s Aide Committee, Usher Board, and Deaconess Board. Her favorite things to do was reading, working with children, eating out, shopping, and loving her family. She was an employee of Walmart for many years. Likewise, she was an employee for the Tift County Board of Education for 20 plus years. On May 12, 2000, Mrs. Dianne married the love of her life, Mr. Elbert James Sears. With this union, they were able to spread so much love to all of their children. Love ones who preceded her in death includes her parents, Casey Green and Hannah Lunsford Green; parents-in-law, Jasper and Frances Sears; brother, Willie Green; sister, Essie Mae Green; and sister-in-law, Georgia Ann Brown. Now, she leaves to cherish her memories her children, Emeka Sears, Dravis Sears, Elexus Sears, Antonio Sears, Karizma Sears, Kyrie Sears, Alexandre (Valerie) Collins (all of Tifton, Ga.), Jermaine Roberts, and Dondreal (Jack) Manley both of Fitzgerald, Ga., Ferlesha Sears Holloman of Ashburn, Ga., Berretta Downs of Atlanta, Ga., Kaella (Tim) Zackery , and Vanessa Sears both of Albany, Ga.; siblings, Ruby Foster of Albany, Ga., Lewis (Vivian) Green, Rossie (Gary) Hill, and Michael Green all of Dawson, Ga.; in-laws, Mamie Bruce, Rosie Norris, Verdine Donaldson, Francis (Donald) Sills all of Tifton, Ga., Mary Alice (Thomas) Singleton of Sunsweet, Ga., and Claybon (Ira) Sears of Eatonton, Ga.; a loving nephew, Stacey (Ivy) Sears; a loving niece, Rita Bruce, and a host of other relatives, co-workers, church members, and friends.
