Mr. William Frank Twyman, Jr. began life’s journey on September 15, 1941 to union of William Frank Twyman and Rachel Pope Twyman in Talladega County, Alabama.
Mr. Twyman accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior and united with Tallasahatchie Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend P. E. Kidd. He received his education in Talladega County Schools where he attended Phyllis Wheatley High School. He was a farmer for many years after the passing of his father. During his professional career, Frank was a long-time employee of Crown Textiles until it closed.
On Saturday, November 9, 2019, Mr. Twymon answered the Master’s call. He was preceded in passing by his wife, Sarah Ann Chatman Twyman; his parents, William Frank and Rachel Twyman, Sr.; two sisters, Mary F. Keller and Mary L. Twyman; three brothers, Willie Pope, A. L. Twyman and W. J. Taylor; a grandson, Derrick Chatman; and two nephews, Jerome Twyman and James Twyman.
Mr. Twyman leaves to continue his legacy: six daughters, Sandra Chatman Jemison and Mary Jane Garrett of Talladega, Alabama, Vernita Jones of Fairfield, Alabama, Josephine Twyman of Talladega, Alabama, Beverly Twyman of Sylacauga, Alabama and Teresa Twyman of Akron, Ohio; one son, Reginald Twyman of Homewood, Alabama; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; five sisters, Betty Jean Twyman, Rose Twyman and Mary Alice Twyman of Childersburg, Alabama, Jose Twyman Ware and Rebecca Twyman of Sylacauga, Alabama; one brother, Noble Twyman of Childersburg, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
