Obituary For Mrs. Johnnie Mae Reviere

Obituary Mrs. Johnnie Mae Drake Reviere, was born to the late Mrs. Eddie Mae Williams Drake and the late Mr. John Henry Drake on July 13, 1956, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined the Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she maintained her membership until death. She was educated in the public school of Thomaston, and she attended Drake High School. When she became a young adult, she married and became a wife and mother. She entered the work field to help provide for her family. She worked untiringly to help her family as well as her mother, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and whomever was raised in the house. She was always available and neglected herself to provide for them. She later found employment at Clearview Nursing Home, now Golden Living Center, where she was employed for over twenty-six years. She enjoyed her work, and loved the patients, co-workers and family members who came in and out to visit. She possessed a loving heart and helped anyone she could who was in need. During her leisure time, she enjoyed working on her job, spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Billie Jean Reviere Walker and John Henry Drake; brothers, Harry Lee, Jackie, John Henry, and Walter Drake; sisters, Emily, Alma, and Ada Mae Drake; one grandson, Jacolby Drake. On Sunday, November 3, 2019, the Lord called her name, she answered the call and went home to rest. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Mr. Dexter (Terri) Reviere of Thomaston, GA; a devoted friend, Mr. Lee Zorn of Thomaston, GA; seven grandchildren, Brittany N. Drake, Dexter Reviere , Jr. Corey Moss, J. Moss, Daniel Reviere, Sonjia Dunn and Jyles C. Zellner; one great-grandson, Denver Reviere; one sister, Ms. Diane Drake of Thomaston, GA; and a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, all who will miss her dearly.
