Ms. Annette Young, Maple Way, Monroe, GA departed this life Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov 13, 2019 at 12 noon at New Fleming Baptist Church and cemetery, Bartow, GA.

Ms. Young was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Young and Minnie Bell Williams Young. She attended Wadley High and was a 1981 graduate of Swainsboro Technical School. Annette spent many years working as a CNA in Glendale Nursing Home and home healthcare. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Sammy Lee Young and Virginia Williams West.

Survivors include her son, Tavaris (Leah) Young, Athens, GA; daughter, Stephanie Young (George, III) Merriweather, Grovetown, GA; her brothers, Cleveland Williams, Wadley, GA, Danny (Sharma) Young, Clinton, MD, Larry (Vonetta) Sherrod, Augusta, GA; sister, Jeanette Smith, Wadley, GA; a niece that she grew up with as a sister, Mary Williams (Ortega) Colbert, Warner Robins GA; grandchildren, Mya Young, Armani Young, Matthew Gragg, Khristian Young, Chase Young Merriweather; one aunt, Clara Mae Habersham, Greensboro, N.C.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
