Obituary For Ms. Jayla Alexander

Ms. Jayla Alexander,18, of Moultrie, Ga. transition on Saturday in Moultrie, Ga. The family will receive friends on Friday at Southview Mortuary Chapel from 7-8 p.m. Services will be conducted Saturday, Nov 16th at Live Oak Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. The committal service will follow in Westview Cemetery, and the repast will conclude at the Church Social hall. Ms. Jayla Tranay Alexander, daughter of Quentin and Karen Alexander, was born in Moultrie, Ga. On March 20, 2001. The Lord called her name on November 10, 2019. The angels quickly assembled to begin preparation for her homecoming. God drew her breath and Jayla peacefully closed her eyes, surrending unto our Lord, Jesus Christ. The trumpets sounded, the gates opened and Jayla fell into Jesus arms and was welcomed to her final home.

Jayla leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Karen Alexander; father, Quentin Alexander; her siblings, Bro. Elijah Alexander, Bro. Rakeem Alexander, and Bro. Gerald Lemichael Leonard; sister, Tanivia Alexander; Maternal Grandmother, Eula M. Bentley; Paternal Grandmother, Bessie K. Alexander; Paternal Grandfather, Luther Landrum; her niece, Zyla Armonie Smith, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Jayla was precede in death by her Maternal Grandfather, Roy Bentley, Jr. Jayla was a senior at Colquitt County High School.
