Obituary For Mamie Braswell

Mamie "Kate" Kenney Braswell, 98, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 527 E. Thomas Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Reverend Dr. James T. Worthy, officiating. Burial will follow at Northeastern Cemetery.

My grandmother Mary Louise Carney Teel was her cousin and we always had call Cate and she would come down to the house and her and my grandmother would talk and laugh and a good old time she will be surely be miss.My pray and condolences are with the family.

Karen Daughtry I met Aunt Mamie at St. James Missionary Baptist Church. I can remember our different conversations we had and she always would greet you with that beautiful smile even if she was not feeling her best. She was truly a woman of God. Aunt Mamie, had such a sweet and kind spirit and she will truly be missed. My prayers are with the family. Love you Aunt Mamie.
