To the Jones Family: I would like to take this time to express my personal condolences to the family of Martha Jones. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. No there is never a welcomed time to here about the passing of anyone in death. Death only continues to remind us of how far the human family has fallen from God's original purpose. Despite the falling, God has not forgotten about his earthly family. He understands what families are dealing with when they lose someone in death. So Our Creator takes the time to provide comforting words during this time. To the Jones family God tells us that we are near the time when He would rid the earth of all sicknesses and death.( Revelation 21:4-5) Why even the aging process will be reversed so that we become young again. However there is still another promise that God wants all to be aware of. This promise deals with the restoring of life back to those who have died. Directing your attention back to the Bible, God now tells us that He would call to those in the grave, and that our departed love ones would hear His, and stand up in life again.(John 5:28-29) Oh what a powerful promise this truly is. From this promise God is giving us His personal guarantee that Our love ones will live again. That we would be reunited back with those who we love and miss. So although we have entered a period of darkness due to death, the days of brightness are near at hand. To help all to have strong faith in this promise, God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about grand provision near at hand. God wants all to develop strong faith in this promise. So He has taken the time to preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this wonderful arrangement from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how the verses apply to Martha, and a great host of others who await their personal resurrection from God. So to the family and friends we say please keep this promise of God near your heart at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it always becomes reality. For God does not lie. (Titus 1:2)
