OPELOUSAS- Memorial services will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Kendall James Lewis, 57, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Lafayette, LA. Rev. Kenneth Trent, Pastor of Mt. Pleasant Green Baptist Church of Sulphur, LA, will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Lewis leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Kaysha Williams-Fluker of Broussard, LA; one son, Lance Anderson of New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Douglas of Lafayette, LA and Neil Lewis of Cottonport, LA; two sisters, Elaine (Muriel) Woodley and Oradell (Alvin) Thibodeaux, both of Opelousas, LA; one God-daughter, Charla Ozenne of Houston, TX; one God-son, Chad Thomas of Lafayette, LA; ; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Melvin and Anabelle Davis; maternal grandparents, Paul Williams and Edna Johnson Williams; paternal grandparents, Andrew Lewis and Ophelia Sims Lewis; one sister, Cynthia Mouton; two brothers, Dwight Lewis and Glenn Lewis; one niece, Yvette Mouton Aubrey; and a close brother whom he loved as a brother, Charles P.
