Elder Melvin Dean Roberson, 61, passed on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Neshoba County, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 2:30 P.M. Saturday, November 16, 2019 from Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will be held in the Mars Hill C.O.G.I.C. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 1:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M. Saturday, November 16, 2019 from Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

We the Courtney Sanders Jr and Mother Bernice Sanders family sends our love and heartfelt Sympathy to Missionary Joyce, the Roberson family and church family. Pastor Roberson was a dear friend to our family and the Late Administrative Courtney Sanders Sr over twenty-five years ago. We wish we could have made it to his home-going service. We shared many memories but the one memory we will remember and forever cherish the last time we seen and talk to each other in St Louis back in August. Also, another memory was your wedding at Faith Temple years ago and how happy he was. Praying for your strength in the Lord, strength like no other.

Words cant not began to explain what you ment to me and my family. I met you when I was 16 years old and over the years you are a great pastor and persons. I never knew that you were married to my aunt. I didnt even she was my aunt until the family reunion!! I love you and you will be truly missed love CJ and Jessica. Your great nice and great great nephew. Aunt Joyce I love you and stay strong. Sorry we couldnt be there but i send my love.

Mr. and Mrs. John Beverly Jr. of Eastpointe MI along with the rest of the family send our condolences. May God comfort your hearts during this time. I will never forget growing up with this family in Saint Louis MO. We had a lot of good times together. I remember when Melvin got saved at Fountain Temple COGIC. We went to the same High School and many other pleasant memories. So Roberson family look to the Lord from which cometh your help he will see you through.
