Obituary For Mrs. Maggie Wilson

Mrs. Maggie Wilson 87, of Unadilla GA entered into eternal rest on Tuesday November 12, 2019.Celebration of Life for Mrs. Maggie Wilson 87, of Unadilla GA will be held Saturday November 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church In Unadilla Interment in the Church Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held Friday November 15th from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla.

Sis. Maggie Wilson transitioned to her heavenly home on November 12th 2019 at the Cordele Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 15th 1931 to the late William Lewis, Sr. and Eliza King Lewis in Palmetto, FL. She was educated in the Manatee County School System and later attended Gibbs Junior College in St. Petersburg, FL. Maggie accepted Christ at an early age at Turner’s Chapel AME in Palmetto, FL. She retired from Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY after which she relocated to Unadilla, GA and became a faithful member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Joseph Wilson; three loving sisters, Ozella Russell, Cenie Brown, and Marie Hardy; two brothers, Enoch Lewis and William Lewis, Jr. Maggie leaves to cherish her memories three sisters, Rosa L. Lawson of Unadilla, GA, Eloise White of Palmetto, FL and Louise Boyd of Sanford, FL. A devoted brother, Steve Lewis of Palmetto, FL. A very devoted friend, Mrs. Ida Walters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
