MRS. JETUIIN MORRIS MCLEOD - Age 62, Of Mt. Vernon, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019. She was born on July 17, 1957 to her late parents, Jackie Morris and Lilllie Ann Byron Morris Truitt. She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Cornelius Morris, and niece, Bradetta Nicole Blackwell.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John Franklin McLeod; three sons, Derrick Lee Childs, Oscar (Tresa)Childs, Jr.; Rev. John Franklin McLeod, Jr.; five daughters, Wendy LaTrice Childs, Brandy Towns, Robin McLeod Mills, Wykeshia Strickland, Kimberly Lane; two grandchildren, Alexis (Alterez Jordan) Easter, Julian Childs; two great grandchildren, D’Shaun Easter, Ayden Jordan; three sisters, Charlene (Ardis Toney) Jones, ReeAnn (Min. O’Bryant) Macon, Tracia (Jeff) Coates; two brothers, Michael (Debbie Crulo) Morris, Charles R. Truitt; two aunts, Alberta (Charlie) Jones, Louise Morris; nieces, nephews, special cousin, Phyllis Mahoney, James Mahoney, Jr.; a dear family friend Dea. Samuel Nichols; other cousins, relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. at the Chapel with Rev. John Franklin McLeod, Jr. as Eulogist and Pastor Charles D. Catchings as Presider. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 A. M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 A.
