Obituary For Wiley Daniel Swain

Funeral services for Mr. Wiley Daniel Swain, 65, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Campbell Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Richard Fair is the pastor. Reverend John L. Ragland, Jr. will be the eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Swain will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Wiley Daniel "Danny Boy" Swain was born on March 30, 1954 to the union of T. Wiley and Tisha Swain in Alpine, Alabama.

Mr. Swain united with St. Campbell Missionary Baptist at an early age. He received his education at Talladega County Training School. Wiley was a retired employee of Talladega County Department of Transportation.

On Sunday, November 17, 2019, Mr. Swain was called to eternal rest. He was preceded in passing by his father, T. Wiley Swain; and a sister, Sharon Armbrester.

He is survived by one daughter, Takisha Swain of Talladega, Alabama; one son, Wiley "DJ" Bowman of of Alpine, Alabama; his mother, Tisha Mae Swain of Talladega, Alabama; one brother, William Swain of Munford, Alabama; seven sisters, Gwen (Eric) Swain, Juliette (Henry) Swain and Tabitha (Darryl) Staples of Alpine, Alabama, Emma Swain and Myra Swain of Talladega, Alabama, Bernice (Harry) Bradshaw of Texas and Frances (Terry) Morris of Colorado; three grandchildren, Justin, Cordarrius and Tanayzia; a special Goddaughter, Alexis "Road Dog"; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
