Obituary For Lonzy Poole

Mr. Lonzy Poole, 250 1st Street, Wadley., GA departed this life Monday, November 18, 2019 at the residence of his sister, Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel. Burial will be held in Live Oak Cemetery. Mr. Poole was a native of Jefferson County, born to the parentage of the late Will Jordan and Daisy Bell Poole. At an early age he was united with the Christian family at Live Oak C.M.E. Church. For over thirty-two years he enjoyed his job as a lineman at Georgia Power and Company/Southern Company. In his spare time Lonzy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Willie Poole. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, grandchildren, Christopher B. Poole, Hephzibah, GA, Jessica Houston and Kendrick Coppock, Swainsboro, GA, Jessie (Jaime) Wadley, Atlanta, GA; his brother, Sammie Lee Harris, Wadley, GA; sisters, Carlese Moss and Murlene White, Syracuse, N.Y., Mary Ann Kelly, Wadley, GA, and Mary Summerville, Swainsboro, GA; A special Friend, Dorothy Flournoy Gibbons, Wadley. GA; Daughter-in-law, Alethia Poole, Swainsboro, GA; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
