She was a graduate of Lake View High School in the class of 1976. She joined Poplar Creek Baptist Church at an early age and sang on the choir until her health failed.
Wanda was employed at Dillon Welcome Center, Copastan Industries of Lake View, SC, Thorne Retirement Home, Lake View, SC, Lake View High School Bus Driver and Pee Dee Community Action Head Start, Nichols, South Carolina.
Wanda was preceded in death by her mother: Annie Mae McNeil; her biological parents: Louvenia Page Flowers and J.R. McNeil; sisters: Iola Bell Edwards and Rachel Dawkins; brothers: Billy, Joe, Liston and James “Spunk” McNeil; her father-n-law, mother-n-law and sister-n-law.
Wanda leaves to cherish fond and loving memories ~ her husband: Deacon Johnny E. Brown Sr.; four children: Eric (Ikeia) Brown and Jennifer Brown both of Dillon, SC, Johnny E. Brown Jr. of Columbia, SC, Rodney (Nakia) Brown of the home; a special daughter: KeyAsia Manning of Dillon, SC; six grandchildren: Ronald Edwards, Khaiden Brown both of the home, Eric Brown Jr., Kyrie Thompson, Kameron Kelly and Malik Green all of Dillon, SC; her siblings: Nina Faye McNeil, Wayne McNeil, James (Francine) McNeil, Linda (Benny) Majette, Gloria McNeil, Zelda McDonald, Jerry (Mary) McNeil, Alan (Katrina) McNeil; eight additional biological siblings of Newburn, North Carolina: a step-father and step-mother; five brothers-n-law, eight sisters-n-law; one uncle: Donnie Lee Page, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
