Obituary For Mr. Larry Jenkins

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Jenkins will be held on Friday, at 1pm at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Pastor Willie Ray Clark, officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS.

Mr. Jenkins, 63, was employed as a roofer with Daniel Roofing and others. He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Stephanie Jenkins of Meridian; 3 sons, Larry Dewayne (Marty) Walker of Hawaii and Terrance Dwon Johnson and Jarell Walker both of Meridian; 4 sisters, Sheron Jenkins, Turkessa Powe, Shenekia (Cortez) Wilson and Santana Jenkins all of Meridian; 8 brothers, Willie Jenkins of Lauderdale, MS, Johnny M. Jenkins of Killeen, TX, Johnny R. Jenkins of Oklahoma City, OK, James Brown, Tony Overstreet and Rev. W. R. Clark all of Meridian, Timothy McElroy and Rev. James McDonald of Poterville, MS; 8 sisters, Doris Roberts Sandra Grace, Patricia Jenkins and Maxine Brown all of Meridian, MS and Brenda Silliman of Poterville, MS Charlene Shaw of Hope Mills, NC and Linda McElroy and Glenda Jenkins; 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will held from 1 - 5pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Enterprise Funeral Home that was entrusted with the final arrangements.
