Mrs. Carter I am sorry i couldn't see you at the wake to express my condolence. I left shortly. I saw him only a week prior , looking healthy at the academy. I was the pediatrician for his patients at Charter Westbrook and Hall mark Youth care; and have only seen him rarely since. It is an honor to have known him for such caring for his patients and his integrity to challenge us to provide impeccable care for the children.

Over the years there were several times both my husband and I crossed paths with Dr. Carter, at the old Richmond Memorial, VT CC and West End Behavioral. He was a kind man, generous with his time and sharing with his knowledge. Our condolences to the family and friends of this wonderful man. Karen and John Marlowe

Dearest Norma, Wesley will be truly missed as he was a faithful supporter of the Richmond Medical Society, Old Dominion Medical Society and National Medical Association. It is indeed a loss to our community of physicians. He alwasys was supportive and encouraging to me as a Past President of the RMS and ODMS and applauded the successes achieved with the development of CVCHIP, an accountable care organization. His smile, ease of conversation, and always thoughtful questions at our gatherings leaves a void that cannot be filled. God give you peace and comfort in a life well-lived. Lerla Joseph, MD

Dr. Carter was my doctor 40 years ago when I was a teenager. He was someone who taught me about compassion, respect and trust. I would not be here today had it not been for Dr. Carter. I will forever be grateful! Cristie Rosenberg
