Alonzo "Bo" Huff, 85, of Princeton Street, was called away by the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Charlotte, NC, Bo was the second of four children of Ella Jacobs Huff and Willie Huff. He was also preceded in death by sons, Gary and Alex; a brother, Joseph Huff and a sister, Christine Brooks.

A longtime Springfield resident, Bo worked for the former Breck Company as a machine operator for many years. He was a dedicated member of Wesley United Methodist Church and had served as Chairperson of Finance there. He was also a member of the United Methodist Men.

Bo is survived by his beloved wife Joyce; two sons, Paul Michael (Janie) of Springfield, MA. and William "Bo" (Cheryl) of Denver, CA; two daughters, Mary Huff (her special friend Louis Elmore) and Joyce Jamison (Ronnie) all of Springfield; two brothers in law, Ray Brooks and William Payne Jr. and a sister in law, Doris Howze all of NC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The calling hour will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 741 State St followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Harrell Funeral Home, Springfield, MA.
