Veda, thank you for wrapping your arms around me and making me feel welcomed from day one. Thank you for showing me all that you could when time and health allowed. I will always remember the many talks we had on the phone, at work and especially when I stayed over to learn from you. Thank you for being my momma and my friend and for always being "Straight Up, With No Chaser" with me I appreciated that about you. Because, you left me a voice mail message and I listen to you and hear your voice whenever I reach a low point in the day. Even though our time together was cut short, I thank God for the time that he allowed me to be in your presence and for those who knew you; if you were given the pleasure to get to know Veda consider yourself blessed. Therefore, this is not goodbye, but simply a farewell. Death is the last chapter in time, but the first chapter in Eternity. ~ Sleep well my friend, I will never forget you. Love you always, Jonette Meade
