Mrs. Lillian Moore Thomas, transitioned from this life to life eternal on November 27, 2019. She was born on July 10, 1950 in Bennettsville, SC to the late Jack Moore, Sr. and Thelma York. She was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Moore; sister, Grace Covington and one brother, Tom York.

Mrs. Lillian graduated from Marlboro County Schools. She worked for many years at Hanes Brand Warehouse. She had a special bond with her granddaughter and great grandson. Her laugh and smile would brighten up the room. She spent the last 14 years at Sunbridge Meridian Center where she loved many of the employees.

Surviving relatives to cherish her memories are her husband, Roy Thomas of High Point, NC; two sons, James Raymond (Sharon) Moore and Bobby Moore both of High Point, NC; sister, Ada Parker and brother, Frank Lyles both of South Carolina; grandchildren, Shaterrica Gladden, Brittney Cobb, Saquinna Cobb, Rockell Ervin, Jacquita Moore, Cody Wilson, K’Shawn Moore of High Point, NC, and Sean Barrett of Charlotte, NC; special friend, Billie Morris; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who were blessed to have her in their lives.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The family would like to say “Thanks” to the staff at Meridian Center for all the love and care given to Mrs. Thomas.
