Obituary For Chifon "Tiny" Jones

A celebration of life for Ms. Chifon "Tiny" Jones, 49, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Matthew Leonard will be the eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Jones will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Chifon “Tiny” Jones was born on Saturday, November 7, 1970 to the union of John Henry Jones and Mannie Keith Jones in Talladega, Alabama.

At a young age, Ms. Jones united with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Chifon was a member of the 1990 graduating class of Talladega County Central High School. She was an employee of the Talladega County Sheriff Department, Alpine Bay and Palm Beach. Chifon enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and would often be found talking on the phone, texting and on Facebook.

On the morning of Sunday, December 1, 2019, Ms. Jones began her eternal journey at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. She was preceded in her journey by her father, John H. Jones; grandparents, Jim R. and Elzoria Keith and L. C. and Lela M. Jones; three aunts, Annette Whiteside, Datie Garrett and Deloris Cooper; and three uncles, Joe Lewis Jones, Jimmy Lee Keith and Willie A. Keith.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Jacorion K. Jones of Alpine, Alabama; her loving mother, Mannie K. Jones of Alpine, Alabama; one sister, Christy J. (Jerome) McKenzie of Talladega, Alabama; one brother, Kenneth (Sabrina) Jones of Alpine, Alabama; seven aunts, Carrie Swain, Nettie (John Sam) Jones, Emma Williams, Annie (Jerome) Jackson, Mae Stockdale, Lutitia Keith and Cynthia Jones; six uncles, Herschel (Lillie) Keith, Robert Jones, Edward Jones, T. Lovely (Sonya) Jones, Joe Nathan Jones and L. C. (Datie) Gilbert; one niece, Keianna Jones; two nephews, Dondricus Swain and Antonio McKenzie; one great niece, Kenslee Embry; one great nephew, Breydn Smoot; a special friend, Stephanie Cunningham; and a host of other relatives and friends.
