Obituary For Steven Embry

Funeral services for Mr. Steven Embry, 53, will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Terry's Mortuary Chapel. Reverend Quentin Morris will be the eulogist. Interment will be in Embry Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 8 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Mr. Steven Embry began life’s journey on Sunday, September 4, 1966 to the union of Robert Samuel Embry and Ellen Bell Embry in Talladega, Alabama.

Mr. Embry was raised in the Talladega community. He was a member of the 1984 graduating class of Talladega County Training School. Steven was an owner/operator with Land Star Trucking. He was a big fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football.

On the evening of Sunday, December 1, 2019, Steven answered the Master’s call at his residence. He was preceded in passing by his father, Robert S. Embry.

Mr. Embry leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Ellen Embry of Talladega, Alabama; a sister, Jackie (West) Taylor of Talladega, Alabama; a brother, Jeff (Dorese) Embry of Talladega, Alabama; one niece, Shanekia Miller; three nephews, Wesley Taylor, Keelan Taylor and Chris Embry; a great niece, Yanni Miller; a great nephew, Maliah Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.

To my amazing uncle, we have so so so many wonderful times memories I could go on all day. Lord knows. I’m just grateful that I got to have an uncle like you. Your Princess sure does miss you but you are no longer hurting. You can get all the loads you want up there in heaven. Lol. Maliah and Yanni miss you so much but that’s because they loved you and adored you, just as you did them. Save your princess a seat. Miss you SO much, and I LOVE YOU ALWAYS, my uncle Steve.
