Obituary For Bonnie l. Sharkey

Bonnie Lee Allen Sharkey was born on July 23, 1929 to the late Etta Joiner and Shelby Allen. She attended the Leake County School System. At an early age she gave her whole heart and soul by accepting the Lord as her Savior and stayed faithful until He called her home. She was employed at Monfort Jones Memorial Hospital and then went to work at Attala County Nursing Home. First & foremost, she was a faithful servant unto the Lord. She let us all know the Lord came first and that she loved her family, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

She was united in matrimony to the late Roosevelt Hannah and to this union five children were born. She was later united in matrimony to the late Roosevelt Hannah and to this union seven children were born. Two children, Terry Allen and Aaron Hannah, preceded her in death. Five ssiters, Mattie, Bennie Ruth, Erma Lee, Elaine, Madine & two brothers, Henry and Cleotha, also preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memories and to be a reflection of her life are her ten children: Saile Hannah of Kosciusko, MS, Daisy Sanders (John) of Milwaukee, WI, Johnnie Hannah of Jackson, MS, Bobbie Alston Brown (Albert) of Chicago, IL, Bobby, Bobby Sharkey (Loretta) of Milwaukee, WI, JoAnn S. Manning (Allen), Dennis Sharkey, Clay Sharkey, Dannie Sharkey (Cassandria), Carolyn Sharkey (Carl) of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters, Mae Bertha Stewart of Tampa, FL, Eva Mae Tate of Jackson, MS; one brother, Shelby Allen, Jr. (Margaret) of Tampa, FL; thirty-three grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

DATE OF SERVICE: Saturday 12/7/2019 at 11:00 a.m.

INTERMENT: Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS
