To the Patterson Family: We are truly sorry to hear about the recent passing of Nora C Patterson. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this hour of great sadness. May the family and friends please draw strength and comfort from these loving promises from God.( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) In the first promise, God tells us that all can look forward to the time when He would rid the whole earth of all things that causes pain and suffering.(Revelation 21:3-5) Just imagine being able to live in a time when no person will ever get sick, grow old and death. Yes death has certainly caused the tears to fall from the eyes of billions of people worldwide. However this will be a thing of the past. There is another promise that God wants all to know about. This promise deals with the restoring of life back to those who have died. Please take note how this promise will provide great blessings to Nora, and a great host of others who have fallen asleep in death. So here is this wonderful promise from God. God tells us that He would soo call to those who have died, and that our love ones would hear His voice and stand up in life again. From this second promise, God is giving us His personal promise that Nora and others from around the world would have their lives restored back to them. That Nora and others would be reunited back with their many family members and friends. Only God who is the source of life, can make such a promise, and then to carry such a loving promise out to its end. Then to help all to develop strong faith in this promise, God has taken the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this wonderful blessing from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how the verses apply to Nora and others who await their awakening from the deep sleep of death. Just imagine what the earth will be like as the sound of joy and laughter begins to fill the whole earth. Really the days of brightness are just around the corner. So in closing we say please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times, Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie.(Titus 1:2)
