Obituary For Annie Pearl McClelland

Ms. Annie Pearl McClelland, 76, of 1100 Jackson Street, Madison Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, December 05, 2019 at her residence.

Annie Pearl (Allen) McClelland was the oldest of two children born to the late Brother and Annie Bell Adams Allen on December 24, 1942, in Madison, Georgia. As a child, she loved to help her mother with baking, canning and freezing vegetables, and general cooking and household tasks.

Ms. Annie affectionately known as Pearl, by her family and friends, attended Burney Street and Pearl High School. She was an early high school graduate of Pearl High School in 1959. Later in life she was employed at Hercules in Covington, Georgia, from October 1973, until October 1996. After retirement from Hercules, she obtained employment with the Morgan County School System as a food service assistant and bus driver from October 1996, until February 2014.

She loved the Lord and attended service at her home church, Holland Springs Baptist Church, and at local and nearby churches in the community. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Devotional Praise Team.

She leaves to cherish her memories four loving children, Angela Wilson, Terri Wilson, and Stacey McClelland, all of Madison, GA, and James Wilson (Felicia Smith) of Greensboro, GA; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five siblings and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church,184 Academy Street, Madison, Georgia, Reverend L. K. Reid Officiating.

Visitation hours will be Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 2:00-6:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M.; Bernard's, The Madison Chapel.
