I guess this caught up with me and I thought I was the strong one out of the bunch. Man I appreciate all the condolences and kind words everyone had for my father. My heart is on a emotional roller coaster right now my dad been working since he was 15 years old and the same job as that he had 5 kids herb jr. Rachel Dabney Crystal Harris April harris and myself and he took care of us and his wife without any complaints, because he never complain about anything. He worked hard for everything he didnt want help after he came from work he worked in his yard and his garden and still found time to be with us and he taught us what love and happiness was and to appreciate things from the heart . He also let you know with one look to straighten up if you step out of line and I'm glad he starting having grandkids and great grandkids they melt his heart and he taught them from youngins what real life was about cut grass doing garden rake leaves and when he took them out he didnt have to spend money he taught them quality time and prepped them and us for life. This man my father is one of a kind he was a soldier, he was a fighter, he never quit, he was humble and peace was the key in his life. This man will give the short off his back ,you call him for anything it's done deal, need him to do anything he there and my dad never missed any day from work until he retired. If you knew him you know he had a sincere heart and loving smile and most of all if you knew him from his dancing (james brown) him doing them splits he in his 70's you be amazed. But now he is gone so young and no more stories, jokes, spoiling him, shopping trips, sleep overs, crying on his shoulder, seeing that beautiful smile, him walking to the driveway as we pull out to go home and he 2aved to us every single time has gotten me down I said I was strong I'm his twin, but right now I feel empty and a void and most of all my kids he was a dad to them as he was with us and the rest of the grandkids and so forth. But he is an angel and I know he will be watching over his family and friends. But he is in a better place no more pain no more suffering and he with his parents and brother. I love you papa til we meet again save a seat for me. We love you dad. Tara Harris Linares, Neftali Linares, Rashaad, dyonte and Davarius Harris

Daddy, I love you and I am truly going to miss you. You are the best father anyone could EVER have, need, and want. My heart is heavy right now while writing this, but God is giving me strength to finish writing what I feel the need to say right now. There has not been a day that has went by that I didn't love you, miss you, and think of you. You were always there for me. You never complained about family, working, life, anything. You just ALWYAYS kept on doing what YOU were supposed to do which is to be a MAN and take care of your responsibilities. You took care of your family, you worked very hard, and you always made sure that we were safe, secure, happy, and loved. No one could ever replace you or the love that you've given and shown our family. It hurts so bad to know that you're gone, but I know that everything happens for a reason. I will NEVER forget you. You will always be in our minds, hearts, and souls. We love you Daddy!!!!! Love, your daughter April, grandsons Anthony and Tariq, and granddaughter Ariel.
