Obituary For Kennon D'Quarius Curry

Funeral services for Mr. Kennon D'Quarius Curry, 30, will be 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Terry's Mortuary Chapel. Minister Alice Walker will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in the Hall Grove Church Cemetery.

Mr. Kennon D’Quarius Curry began life’s journey on Tuesday, December 20, 1988 in Talladega, Alabama to Christopher Garrett and Erica R. Curry Garrett.

Kennon gave his life to Christ and united with Kingdom Life Ministries. He was a member of the 2008 graduating class of Talladega High School. Kennon joined the staff of Koch Foods in September of 2019 where he remained employed until his passing. In his free time, Kennon enjoyed and maintained a pretty active social life.

In the early hours of Saturday, December 7, 2019, Kennon began his untimely eternal journey. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Thelma Curry and Jimmy McElderry; two uncles, William McElderry and Michael Curry; and one aunt, Mary McElderry.

Kennon leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Erica R. Garrett of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Christopher (Carolyn) Garrett of Talladega, Alabama; four daughters, Makenzie Curry, Thomarea Curry, Sarailyn Whitson and Kelsey Curry; two sons, Cordarrius Baird and Kenyan Whitson; eight sisters, LaShara Curry and SheQuenna Curry of Northport, Alabama, Chanetta (Corey) Sims, Bethany Elston, Marcia Ragland, Leslie Ragland, Gina Ragland and Tracy Ragland of Talladega, Alabama; two brothers, Monterrik (Kiara) Curry of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Arron Sims of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
