Obituary For Adalberto Nieves

Mr. Adalberto Nieves, 70, Hephzibah, GA departed this life Dec. 8, 2019 in a Macon Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel. Interment will be private. Adalberto Nieves(Tito) journey began on November 19,1949 where he was born to his loving parents Juan and Maria Nieves. He lived in Puerto Rico until he graduated in 1966 at Jose Compeche High School, from there he moved to Chicago with his first wife Olga Muniz and leaving behind his 3 children Maribel Nieves,California, Adalberto Nieves Jr, California and Veronica L. Nieves, Atlanta, GA. In Chicago he finished college and graduated as a master electrician and became the first Hispanic to graduate as an electrician. A few years later he married his beloved wife Rosa Nieves for 41yrs and leaves behind 3 children Emmanuel Nieves, Augusta, GA, Jessica E Nieves, Lakeland, GA, Noemi Nieves, Augusta, GA. He also leaves behind 17 grandkid’s Ralph Nieves, Nicholas Nieves, Marco Morfin, Dennis Banks, Tyana Banks, Yesenia Nieves, Israel Nieves, Mikul Nieves, Rociedilma Moreno, Luigi McSwain, Mikah Nieves, Daniel Moreno, Zachary McSwain, Hayley McSwain, Ariah McSwain, Adam McSwain, Anthony Sims Jr. He was an active member at Ministerio Nueva Vida and was a Christian for over 38yrs. He was a loving person who loved to joke around. His doors were always open for anyone and loved to go out to eat new foods. He ended his journey on December 8, 2019.
