Obituary For Delores Cox

Our Beloved Ms. Delores Cox transitioned from this life to her final resting place on December 10, 2019 at Singing River Hospital. Ms. Cox was born June 5, 1928 in Nashville, TN and attended Old Magnolia Middle and Pearl High School. She retired from Singing River Hospital after 32 years of service and was a registered member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Ms. Cox was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Russell and Ruby Wilson; her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carma Nelson and her granddaughter, Ms. Carnesha Nelson. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter and son: Juanita Glaude (Eddie Glaude, Sr.) and Clinton “Sonny” Nelson; Grandchildren: Bonita Glaude; Alvin Jones; Angela Glaude-Hosch (Craig); Eddie Glaude, Jr. (Marie); Erica Salters (Fernandez) and Clinton R.Nelson; Great-Grandchildren: Jonathan Hosch; Ramira Hosch; Langston Glaude; Tilon Jones; Landon Nelson and London Salters and a host of other relatives and friends.

The service will be held Thursday, December 19 at 11AM in the Chapel of Robinson’s Friendly Funeral Home, with the Rev. Loretta Jennings officiating. The viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00AM
