Graveside services for Mr. Billy Shell, 84, of 143 Glivens Court, Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Wayman AME Church Cemetery, Sumter, with interment to follow.

Mr. Billy R. Shell was born October 14, 1938 to the late Aurelia Jeter Shell and the late Leon Shell. He entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 143 Glivens Ct, Orangeburg SC 29118. Mr. Shell was predeceased by wife Dorothy E Shell. Sister Bettie F. Sanders. Brothers Earl Shell, Leon Shell, Michael Shell and Cleophus Shell. Cherishing his memory are four sons, Billy Shell of New York, Bassain Shell of New York, Michael Ervin of Orangeburg SC and Samuel Ervin of Schenectady, NY. Five Daughters Denski Shell (Sandra) of Yonkers, NY, Bridgette Herring of Middletown NY, Brenda Shell of New York, Denique E Bastian (Steven) of Bronx NY and Dorrie Ervin of Orangeburg SC. Sisters Emma Jean Cannon (James) of Raleigh NC, Brenda Bridges (Gene) of Newberry SC. Brothers David W. Shell of New York, Donnie Shell (Paulette) of Rock Hill SC. Sixteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
