Mr. Charles Dashawn Harris was born September 8, 1991, to Charles Edward Harris and Regina Lynn Thomas.

Charles was a valiant soldier who fought to the end for his family. His time with us was too brief, but filled with celebration. Charles was a brother, a son, a friend, a husband, and a father whose presence left an undeniable memory in all of our hearts.

Charles found solace in the simple things: the smile of his daughters, a laugh with his colleagues, just spending time with the boys, and tenderness with his wife who stood by his side in the darkest moments, and guided his light through a forest of decisions.

The next time you say a prayer, get together with the family or just daydream, let’s remember Charles and the laughter he brought us all in our hearts.

Charles Dashawn Harris leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his beautiful wife, Jaterica Lashay Harris; two lovely daughters, Chianne Harris and Amora Harris; his parents, Charles Edward Harris and Regina Lynn Thomas; and two siblings, Kaneisha Green and Ronnie Thomas of Chicago, Illinois.
