It is with heavy hearts but also deep gratitude that we celebrate the life of our beloved Mother Louise Everett, who was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, August 14, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith, which will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Mrs. Louise James Everett was born March 19, 1928, in Pulaski County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Carnell King and Mrs. Susie Lamb King. Louise grew up in Dooly County, GA, where she attended public school. She furthered her education at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Sammie Lee Everett. She retired from Dooly Medical Center, where she worked for over 40 years as a Nurse. She was one of the first black school nurses in Dooly County. She also worked for short tine at Tift Regional Hospital. After retiring from Dooly Medical Center, she was a care taker and also worked at Easter Seals. As a young child, she joined the St. Mark Baptist Church. She held various positions in the church such as secretary and the Mother of the Church.
On Thursday, August 14, 2025, she went home to be with the Lord. She leaves many loving memories to her children, Mrs. Nettie Little of Vienna, GA, Mr. Charles Anderson of Vienna, GA, Mrs. Lois (Johnny) Royal of Vienna, GA, Ms. Sue James of Vienna, GA, and Ms. Alice James of Vienna, GA; two kids preceded her in death, Alvin James and Ronnie James; she also leaves 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
