Rev. David Webster, Jr. 76 of Walnut Cove, NC passed Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 4873 Pine Hall Rd., Belews Creek, NC. The “Celebration of Life” will begin at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in the church cemetery.
A public viewing will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, 402 Short Ave. Madison, NC.
Minister David Junior Webster, Jr., 76 of Walnut Cove, NC transitioned into his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, surrounded by his family at home.He was born in Stokes County to the late David and Alberta Webster and attended school in Stokes County school system.
He retired from Roadway Trucking and loved fishing and hunting. He loved and cherished his grandchildren. He was a dedicated member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, Walnut Cove, NC. He was a faithful preacher that enjoyed going to Nursing homes and hospital to visit the sick.
David was also preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and Larry Webster, two sisters, Brenda Martin and Annie Ruth Webster.
He survives by his wife of 50 years; Virginia Webster, four sons; Keith Webster of Walnut Cove, NC, Steve Webster (Teresa) of Greensboro, NC, Mike Tucker (Rose) and Patrick Davis (Janice) both of Eden, NC, two daughters; Stacey Jones (John) of Walnut Cove, NC and Monica Tucker of Eden, NC. Seven grandchildren; Aaron, Chasity, Jessica, Amber, Dontrae, Malike, Micel-le, along with three grandchildren; Aubree, Jayden and Mahogany. Four brothers; William Webster (Sharon) of Stuart, VA, Donald Lee Webster (Janice) of Eden, NC, James Webster (Iyai) of Walnut Cove, NC, George Webster (Nisoka) of California. Four sisters; Mary Webster of Greensboro, NC, Vera Hutchins of Kernersville, NC, Doris Smith (Rev. Larry) of Winston Salem, NC, Rev. Betty Dixon of Lexington, NC along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
