Johnnie D. Burden,62, of New Bern entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

The Family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the residence of Shanequa Burden 125 Wyndsor Park Drive, New Bern.

The Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the residence of Barri Williams 310 Pine Ridge Avenue, New Bern.

His Service is 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at West Street Christian Church 721 West Street. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Shanequa Burden and son, Roddrick Pugh of New Bern; two sisters, Betty Ruth Brooks and Jonell Saunders of New Bern; four grandchildren.
