Mary Elizabeth Johnson Hayes,73, of Havelock, NC entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 4, 2026 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Her Service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Hyman Chapel AME Zion Church. The interment will follow at Hyman Chapel Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Hayes, Havelock; two daughters, Tracy H. Moody, Jacksonville, FL and Trecia Y. Hayes, Havelock; two grandchildren, Janai A. Ball and Jarred M Ball, Jr. both of Jacksonville, FL.
