Viewing hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday and 9:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Mortuary.

His Service is 12:00 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2026 at St. James Disciples of Christ Church 350 NC Hwy. 118, Vanceboro. Please wear a Mask

The interment will follow at Northeast Cemetery, Hines Drive, Ayden.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Lathon, New Bern; two sons, Samuel A. Lathon, Wilson, NC and Eric A. Lathon, Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
