Pastor William R. Wright,82, of New Bern entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 19, 2026 at his residence.

His Funeral service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Oscar's Memorial Chapel. The Interment will follow at the Wright Family Cemetery, New Bern, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Reverend Gladys Midgette Wright, New Bern; two sons, Rickey Wright, New Bern and Major Lamont Wright, Killen, TX; two daughters, Donnica Wright Munlyn, New Bern and Karey Wright Edwards, Richlands, NC; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
