Nannie Ruth Hall Tyson, daughter of the late Robert Hall and Annie Jane McDonald Hall was born in Anson County on December 16, 1949. She transitioned gracefully and peacefully on November 20, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving daughter, Renee, and cherished son-in-law, Anthony, as she entered the Gates of Heaven.
Nannie attended the public schools of Anson County. She was employed by Tyson of Monroe, NC for 20 years. With unwavering faith, she confessed Christ as her Savior at an early age and joined Flakes Chapel Church. She later joined Harvest Ministries Outreach where she remained a faithful member until her health failed.
Nannie is now reunited with her parents, Robert and Annie Hall; her son, James Hall; sisters, Bessie Hall, Rosa Leak, Bertha Liles, Ivey Hall, and Betty Holt; and brothers, Leroy Hall and Ronnie Hall.
Nannie was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, filling her days with joy as she embraced her grandchildren and the cherished moments they shared.
Her legacy lives on through her daughters, Renee Peguese (Anthony) and Angela Hall; her son, Tony Hall; bonus daughter, Alison Willoughby; grandchildren, Markeys, Crystal (Chris), Marcus, Sierra, Keith, Monique, Kevin, Amber, Kayla, Da'Shaunti, and Desmon; and eleven great grandchildren.
Nannie is also survived by her brothers, Frankie Hall and Anthony Harris (Janice); sisters, Mary Smith and Donnie Smith (William); daughters-in-law, Hazel Hall and Maricia McMillian; brother-in-law, Johnny Smith; her favorite nieces, Marcia Davis and Letitia Jones; her aggy nieces, Cynthia Melton and Carolyn Hall; her favorite cousin, Kimberly Simon; her "ride or die" friends, Pauline Ratliff, Shelia Chambers and Carolyn Bennett; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and many friends.
The Homegoing Services will be on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 3:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the Hall Family Plot of the Flakes Chapel Baptist Church, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
