William Lee Whitfield,82, of New Bern was called to rest on Thursday, February 26, 2026 in Goldsboro, NC.

Viewing hours are 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday and Friday
at Oscar’s Mortuary.

The Service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel. The interment will follow at Haiti Cemetery, Trenton, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche Darlene Wallace Whitfield; sons, Shamar El Shabazz Whitfield, New Bern, NC and Justin Whitfield of Wilmington, DE; daughters, Kamilah Whitfield, Wilmington DE, Danikka Russell, Newark, DE, Kimberly Wallace Whitfield, Nakeena Miles Whitfield and Kavonza Whitfield, Wilmington, DE; twenty-nine grandchildren and and forty-one great-grandchildren.
