Funeral Services for Ms. Angela Peden, 51, were held Thursday, 03/12/2026 @ 11:00 am at Mercy and Peace Church in Preston, MS. Rev. Dred Phillips officiated the services.
Burial followed in Symra Cemetery in Preston, MS.
Angela Lee Peden was born on December 31, 1974, in Meridian, Mississippi, to the late Milton Peden and Betty Elouise Peden (Grady). She was the sixth child born to this loving union.
Angela was a lifelong resident of Kemper County, Mississippi. After graduating from high school, she briefly attended Job Corps, where she earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She later dedicated her time and care to others while employed at Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb, faithfully serving until her health began to decline.
Angela deeply loved her family, but her greatest joy and pride was her beloved son, Quinten. Known for her warm spirit, gentle heart, and peaceful demeanor, Angela had a natural way with people and never met a stranger. Her kindness and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the age of 51, Angela peacefully transitioned into eternal rest. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Artesia Renee; her brother, Famous B. Grady; her paternal grandparents, Wallace Payton and Willie Belle Coleman Payton; and her maternal grandparents, John Bonnage "Jack" Grady and Johnnie Gussie "Mamie" Cole.
Angela leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving son, Quinten Michael Peden; her sister, Annie Peden (Curtis); two brothers, Johnny Grady and Tyrone Peden (Sharonda); two aunts Lizzie Kirk and Flora Grady; three uncles, Eddie Payton (Flora) John Jake "Pete" Grady, and Jack "June" Grady (Renee); he sister of the heart, Vanessa Evans; and a host of other relative and dear friends who will miss her dearly but will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
