Her Service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel. The Interment will follow at the Hickman Family Cemetery, Havelock, North Carolina.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie Whitehead, Vanceboro; three sons, Jessie White, Vanceboro, Larry White, New Bern, Michael Whitehead, Charlotte, NC; daughter, JoAnn Haddock, Washington NC; one brother, Alvin Swinson, New Bern; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
