Jacinta Wilson, 39, of Columbus, GA, passed on Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Min. Joe Lowe, officiating. Public viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST on the day of service.
Jacinta Zaneta Wilson was born on February 20, 1987, in Columbus, GA to Bernadette Harris and Joseph McClendon. She peacefully departed this life on March 28, 2026.
Jacinta was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and carried that love in her heart each day. Her kindness, warmth, and radiant spirit touched everyone she encountered. She was truly a joy to all who knew her.
She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter. Her family meant everything to her, and she gave of herself selflessly, always offering love, support, and encouragement.
Jacinta was a proud graduate of Kendrick High School, Class of 2005. She carried the values she learned throughout her life, always striving to uplift those around her.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, W.C. and Alice Jackson; her great-uncle, L.C. Jackson; her great-aunt, Pearline Arnold; and her cousin, Maline Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories and carry on her legacy her beloved husband, Detrick Moore; daughter, Janell, and son, Justin, whom she loved deeply; her mother, Bernadette Harris; father, Joseph McClendon, her stepfather, Freddy L. Harris, Jr.; in-laws, Jerome and Geraldine Moore; her grandparents, John and Annie Wilson; sisters, Michelle McClendon, Judy McClendon, Johanna Brooks; her step-sister, Quennisha Harris; her brother, Christopher McClendon, Dorian McClendon, and DaVorris Harris; her uncles, Calvin Jackson and Clarence Jackson (Candice), an aunt, Patricia McClendon-Sanyang and her great-aunt, Linda Jackson; a special sister/best friend, Ebony Johnson all of Columbus, GA along with a host of cousins, close family members, and dear friends.
Jacinta's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
