Elder Carnel Daniel “CD” Pearson,78, of New Bern was called to rest Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Funeral services 1:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2026 at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church, 1015 Church Street, New Bern, NC.

Interment will follow in the Pearson Family Cemetery.

Viewing hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday at Oscar's Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Nobles Pearson of the home; one daughter, Michelle Wright, New Bern, NC; three sons, Delton Harris, Charlotte, NC, Danny Pearson, New Bern, NC, Joshua Pearson, Winston Salem, NC, and Tony Murphy, New Bern; one sister, Mildred Dillahunt, New Bern, NC; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
