It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Charles Taylor, (83), who transitioned on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at UNC Health Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Public Viewing for James Charles Taylor will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Samuel Bartell Memorial Chapel, 1309 East Calhoun Street, Dillon, South Carolina 29536.

Celebration of Life for James Charles Taylor will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Hazy Grove Baptist Church, 3136 Hazy Grove Road, Hamer, South Carolina 29547.

James Charles Taylor's final resting place will be the Taylor Family Cemetery in Fairmont, North Carolina.
