Ronnie Leon Kellam, 72 of Madison, NC passed Friday, April 3, 2026. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Goodwill First Baptist Church K-Fork Rd. Madison, NC. The Homegoing service will begin at 1:00 p.m., with the Interment following in the church cemetery.

Public visitation will be held Friday April 10, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, 402 Short Ave., Madison, NC.

A Time to be Born: Ronnie Leon Kellam was born April 4, 1953 in Reidsville, NC to the late Ezra (Ed) and France Webster Kellam. On April 3, 2026, God chose another vessel to come home.

A Time to Learn: Ronnie was raised in the Madison, NC area on a farm that he learned many skills at an early age. Ronnie attended South Stokes High School and graduated in 1974. After high school he enlisted into the United States Air Force to serve his country. He finished serving his duty on December 17, 1978.

A Time to Live: Ronnie return back to Stokes County and he was employed at MacField, then years later they changed to Unifi and he worked many years there. After leaving Unifi Ronnie worked at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC as a security guard. He was a quiet spirit man and very humble person. He married Debra Mitchell Kellam and to their union two children was born; daughter, Nathasha Kellam and son, Timothy Kellam that preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by five brothers: Eugene, Edward Jr., Leroy, Jerry and Calvin Kellam and sister-in-law, Dorothy Kellam of Ohio.

Ronnie attended Goodwill Baptist Church at an early age and later years he began to attend Mount Olive Apostolic Church in Martinsville, VA under the leadership of his uncle, Bishop Robert Kellam. Ronnie was a faithful member and he loved his church. After the passing of Bishop Kellam, Ronnie remained faithful and served in areas when or where needed under the leadership of Bishop Jack Thompson where he loved playing his tambourine. Ronnie will be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter; Natasha Kellam of Greensboro, NC; sister; Frances Kellam Broadnax, uncle; Willie Cane Webster, aunt; Loretta Dalton all of Madison, NC. Three sisters-in-law; Willie May Kellam, Jeannie Kellam and Valerie Kellam. Two grandsons; Quintavius Kellam and Daquan Kellam and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
